Sales Development Representative

We need you to scale our sales operations. You and a peer will be our first two Sales Development Reps. Our company’s success will depend on your success, so we’re 100% committed to equipping you with the resources you need to hit your goals. 

You'll get to:

Your key responsibilities:

  • Use email and cold calling to generate first sales conversations with targeted accounts in our Ideal Account Profile

  • Work in concert with our Head of Demand Gen to determine the right message, cadence, and approach to reach target accounts

  • Whatever else it takes to help us achieve our ambitious pipeline and revenue goals

You may need to travel infrequently for conferences or in-person meetings, but this is primarily a remote position. You’ll spend 2-3 days per week in-person at a coworking space.

Role requirements:

  • You have internship or similar professional experience in sales, marketing, or another function of a software company. 

  • You’re excited to use cold calling and cold emailing to help us generate new business. 

  • You live within a 3-hour drive of our Indianapolis HQ

We’ll be especially excited about meeting you if:

  • You’re comfortable on the phone and eager to make human connections with people you don’t know in-person.

  • You’re an internet sleuth, able to find information about people you don’t know, including their interests, likes, and dislikes.

  • You’re excited about social selling, using LinkedIn and Twitter to foster connections with potential buyers.

  • You love technology and are excited to talk to engineers

  • You’re passionate about building a better, more-fair hiring ecosystem

  • You have previous experience in inside sales
